Chapter 1

She breathed out softly, green eyes looked out the window in sadness. Long flowing black hair was loose against her back, a river of darkness as the elegant female sat up. Shoulders were slightly slouched, showing her sadness without any words, though the expression on her face clearly showed she was upset over something. What haunted her, what caused the fair skinned beauty to seem so lost in thought, so lost in loneliness?

Asami Sato was her name, a sweet 16 soon to be 17 year old princess, raised in a rich household with her father Hiroshi Sato, inventor of the SatoMobile, as well as other amazing creations. But all the riches in the world couldn't comfort the void that built in her heart. Sadly, she looked out the window, the gentle sway of the carriage rocked her like a mother to a baby. The tires cranked and thudded against the pebble road, but it didn't change how she felt inside. With all the noise in the world, Asami was still drowning in silence.

Eventually the carriage stopped, a kind man opening the door for her, bowing before reaching his hand out for her to use as she stepped down. She smiled at him, dull green eyes forcing a smile as she said nothing, wrapping her body tightly in her jacket. Looking up, Asami spotted the large mansion that was the Sato Estate. It was beyond life, and with it's many rooms, it only showed how much more lonely things were going to be. With a sigh on her lips, the girl walked up the steps into her house, a memory of a broken home.

It has been a few months now, since the events that shook Republic City. Tarrlok had kidnapped Korra, only to be found by Amon, who really was a water bender named Notak, the blood bending brother to the former Water Tribe Councilman. Her father was placed in prison for his involvement in the Equalist Raid, as well as attempted murder charge Asami placed on him. She felt so guilty, but deep down, truly hoped her father would see the error of his ways. Daily visits over the weeks turned into weekly. And now, she didn't even dare to see him monthly. He never spoke to her, only sat there in disgust, sat there with hate in his eyes.

Because she was his child, Asami inherited everything that belonged to Hiroshi, even the bad press. Sato Industries was surrendered over to the Police Force, which a Lin Bei Fong was now Captain of once again. She had little money left, but as she had nothing to do with her father's betrayal to the people, the Council as well as the Police were easy on her. Investigations were still being conducted, as well as all products made during his position as CEO were taken. The company was in ruins, and somehow Asami would have to pull it together if she wanted to keep her legacy alive.

Night was falling, the tinted colors of blue, purple, green, and pink signaled it was the end of a day. Having spent the entire day at the Police station, stuck with yet another interview, the dark haired beauty was bored out of her mind, insulted with major injury to her pride, and only wanted to crawl into a hole and never come out. Dark circles were beginning to show under her eyes, and though everyone knew of her intentions and her whereabouts during the raid, she was still judged. Sins of the Father deal, she assumed.

Finally in her bedroom, Asami undressed before curling up into her bed, hugging a pillow close to her body. Hot tears fell down her cheeks as her sobs filled the air. Even after all this time, she continued to feel an emptiness inside her no one was able to fill. Team Avatar was no more. Bolin decided he'd train to learn Metal Bending in the off season of Pro-Bending, Korra was still busy trying to restore all the benders that were forced to lose it from Amon. And then there was Mako. He was meant to be the Knight in Shining Armor, but instead he left Asami, left her for Korra. Now, he worked by Korra's side, traveling with her as a personal bodyguard to the slums of Republic City, to the parks and everywhere else in between.

It still hurt, beyond words she could explain. Korra was an amazing person, Asami wasn't going to deny that. It was bad timing after all, the girl thought as she continued to cry, hugging the pillow tightly, wishing her mother was still alive, tired of using a feather stuffed pillow as a substitute for human contact.

"Good night, Republic City," she sobbed, eventually falling asleep.
I do NOT have a title for this yet, I'm really just typing it up. It's loosely based on a RP between myself and @KorraTheLegend on twitter. I play @_SatoAsami and she's obviously Korra. When I'll update this, I'm not sure, but I just felt like this would be a good start.
